We are seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as QMHA. As a QMHA, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with diverse needs and disabilities to lead fulfilling lives.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Assisting residents with all activities of daily living as necessary
Preparing meals, housekeeping to maintain sanitation and the home free of hazards
Assisting with appointments with prescribers, case managers, therapists, and all care partners involved with the residents
Administer prescribed medications, follow physician’s orders for all medications and/or procedures
Assisting in creating and implementing daily schedules
Arranging and in some cases providing transportation of residents
Help in development of treatment by providing insight of each resident
Provide, encourage, and facilitate activities for residents
Provide services and support for clients that help them develop appropriate skills to increase or maintain their level of functioning
Maintain records such as, but not limited to, MARs activity logs, fire drills, employee records, sanitation and safety records, menus, food, and provisions records
Perform all work tasks in a proper and safe manner per established policies procedures, and guidelines.
Responsible for following the services outlined in each resident’s service plan and Treatment plan in a supportive manner
Provide treatment in group settings as well as individual settings
Must maintain the proper certifications required by local and state licensing agencies
Other duties as assigned by a supervisor, including priority care back-up
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years of age
Have a current QMHA certificate through MHACBO
Have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and be able to provide proof of active auto insurance
Pass a DHS background check and/or fingerprinting
Must be tested for TB within two weeks of employment
Maintain current First Aid/CPR certification and food handler’s card.
Understand Medicaid billing and residential documentation
Have flexibility in days and hours available for scheduled work, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to cope with clients who may use challenging or offensive language with potential for escalation to physical aggression
Education & Licensing Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Science: Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Human Development, or related field; Or minimum three (3) years of verifiable behavioral health experience working with individuals with behavioral health needs in a supervised setting; OR equivalent combination of behavioral science education in addition to satisfactory supplemental behavioral health experience and training.
Certifications as required by the state.

Duties:
Assist individuals with daily living activities, including personal care and hygiene
Provide emotional support and companionship
Facilitate community engagement and social activities
Administer medication under supervision
Maintain a safe and clean environment for residents
Requirements:
Experience or knowledge in Residential Treatment, working with people with a mental illness, and assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
Understanding of resident rights
Previous experience in mental health, caregiving, hospice care, or direct support is advantageous
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to provide client-centered care with empathy and respect
High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant certifications are a plus

Provides administrative support to the Administrator.
Conduct ongoing review and audit of program documentation, including clinical service records.
Supervise, train, and evaluate staff, provide/coordinate re-training, and make ongoing performance recommendations to the Administrator.
Develop and maintain staffing schedule; review and verify timesheets; fill in/cover shifts and provide direct/physical care to residents.
Will be responsible for overseeing compliance of household monthly budget, petty cash, facility accounts and associated reporting to
